This sweet family sure is a special one to me. Brandon and Lindsay’s wedding was the very first one I photographed and I have captured newborn sessions, a birth and several family sessions of their sweet clan since!

I am still so behind on blogging my sessions so this last family session was done in June of 2016 and they were part of my family promo that I had filmed.

It was nearly impossible narrowing down photos for this adorable family’s blog share because everything about their session was perfection. The outfits, the weather, the location, the good lookin’ parents and umm hello, that GORGEOUS baby!

Mila was full of smiles for her session, I captured sooo many gorgeous photos for this family! 8 months old and full of smiles and she was so so happy. I just adore her and everything about this sweet family session.

Such an honor when clients choose me as their family photographer – coming all the way from Plymouth to my favorite location to shoot golden hour sessions. I hope you all enjoy these images as much as I do!

Oh how I adore this family. I’ve been photographing this good lookin’ crew from almost the beginning of my photography career and they have been such loyal clients to me year after year – it truly means so much to me. I get so excited when it’s time for their family session because mom never disappoints with adorable outfits – and I truly enjoy seeing my repeat clients each year. They become like family and it’s so fun to watch their kids grow and develop a relationship with them. I absolutely love capturing children and families. My desire is to capture the real, genuine, candid moments between families….to capture that special connection. It’s the best. I absolutely love meeting new families. Capturing your children…your families…it truly is such an honor to me. It was so evident how deeply little Margot is loved by her parents. They were all so photogenic and we had the most gorgeous golden sun that evening. I sure am missing summer right about now…I guess I’ll have to settle for getting caught up on some of the gorgeous families I photographed this past year. Can’t wait for 2016!

This beautiful momma has been a blessing to me! Melissa was both my son and daughter’s kindergarten teacher and oh how she made kindergarten such a great experience for both of them. Sending my first baby off to school full time was not easy – but she made it so much easier. Last year my daughter had a rough time adjusting – but Melissa truly went above and beyond to make her feel secure and comfortable, no matter how long it took. I am so grateful!!

My gift to my kids teachers last year was a gift certificate for a free family session with me. Melissa must have thanked me a million times and told me it was the best gift EVER! I photographed her gorgeous little family the week before school started up again – and we had the most gorgeous light this evening. I’m so thankful I was able to gift them with photos – such treasures.

I think Melissa has gotten the most photos out of all my clients so far, I just had sooo many favorites! Take a look and you can see why 🙂

I have photographed this sweet family for a few years now, and I always look forward to see my repeat clients. I love seeing how their kids have grown, and it’s fun how many of them remember me as I’ve built a relationship with them. This was my first time photographing them outdoors as a family of five and we had the most gorgeous light this evening. I have so many favorites from their session and love all the candid moments captured of the kids and their different personalities.

It was so special to photograph this sweet family. This past school year my Christmas gift to my kids teachers was a gift certificate for a free family photo session with Keri Harrison Photography. Katie was my son Ethan’s 1st grade teacher this last year. He became an incredible reader in 1st grade and grew leaps and bounds having her as his teacher. I’m so thankful!!

I loved being able to capture these precious memories for their family. I know I say it often, but photos truly are such treasures. They are moments frozen in time, that will be cherished and enjoyed for generations. If you are in need of updated family photos, PLEASE find a photographer you love (ahem…. ;)) and book a session! It truly is the best investment.

It was so fun to have my cousin in town visiting from Grand Rapids…so of course we HAD to set up some family photos of this sweet bunch! The last time I saw little Colton was when I went to GR and did his newborn photos, and here he was already turning six months old! Such a cute family and I just love all of these photos. Cuteness overload, I’m telling you – just look!
