This beautiful momma has been a blessing to me! Melissa was both my son and daughter’s kindergarten teacher and oh how she made kindergarten such a great experience for both of them. Sending my first baby off to school full time was not easy – but she made it so much easier. Last year my daughter had a rough time adjusting – but Melissa truly went above and beyond to make her feel secure and comfortable, no matter how long it took. I am so grateful!!

My gift to my kids teachers last year was a gift certificate for a free family session with me. Melissa must have thanked me a million times and told me it was the best gift EVER! I photographed her gorgeous little family the week before school started up again – and we had the most gorgeous light this evening. I’m so thankful I was able to gift them with photos – such treasures.

I think Melissa has gotten the most photos out of all my clients so far, I just had sooo many favorites! Take a look and you can see why 🙂

I have been photographing these sweets boys since Lukas was about 9 months old. They are always so adorable and full of smiles and cuteness for me! I get really excited when a client wants to book me for maternity photos. For some reason, I don’t shoot a lot of maternity, and I’m not sure if it’s something people don’t splurge on as much, or maybe they don’t feel confident in the way they feel or look, I’m not sure, but capturing this time in a families life is so important I feel. One day your babies will love to look through a photo album and see photos of their momma pregnant with them. I know I wish I had more photos of my mom when pregnant with me. It’s such a special time in life – and one that I love to document.

Maternity sessions are truly one of my favorites to capture and I hope I get to do more of them in 2015! Ray and Rebecca’s maternity session was my favorite to date….and big brother Benjamin did so well and was so excited about his little sister on the way! Rebecca you were just GLOWING! So beautiful. This family was so fun to meet and photograph. Mom has followed my work for some time and told me I was her favorite photographer, which just totally made my day! It was so fun to finally meet her little crew, and photograph their cuteness as a family 🙂 I just adore the love that pours out of these photos!

Oh how I loved seeing this little guy again! Last time I saw Benjamin he was around 9 months, so it was fun to see him grow up a little bit – and his blonde curls and blue eyes…GAH! Such a gorgeous little boy! Our last shoot was mainly just of Benjamin so it was fun to meet his daddy this time and do some family shots for them. Benjamin did so great for photos and I just loved everything about their session. Their adorable family, the gorgeous light we had that evening….I truly feel blessed to do something I love so much…capturing these memories for your families, I do not take it for granted! Enjoy the photos of the cute Burke clan 🙂
