What a joy it is for me to capture new parents and their brand new baby. It makes me smile from ear to ear! I have photographed this sweet family for a few years now, and I always look forward to see my repeat clients. I love seeing how their kids have grown, and it’s fun how many of them remember me as I’ve built a relationship with them. This was my first time photographing them outdoors as a family of five and we had the most gorgeous light this evening. I have so many favorites from their session and love all the candid moments captured of the kids and their different personalities.

I get really excited when a client wants to book me for maternity photos. For some reason, I don’t shoot a lot of maternity, and I’m not sure if it’s something people don’t splurge on as much, or maybe they don’t feel confident in the way they feel or look, I’m not sure, but capturing this time in a families life is so important I feel. One day your babies will love to look through a photo album and see photos of their momma pregnant with them. I know I wish I had more photos of my mom when pregnant with me. It’s such a special time in life – and one that I love to document.
Maternity sessions are truly one of my favorites to capture and I hope I get to do more of them in 2015! Ray and Rebecca’s maternity session was my favorite to date….and big brother Benjamin did so well and was so excited about his little sister on the way! Rebecca you were just GLOWING! So beautiful. BABY NORIELLE – HARTLAND MICHIGAN, LIVINGSTON COUNTY – NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER
Oh my goodness, I couldn’t have loved this newborn session anymore! Let me give you a little back story on this sweet baby girl. Her momma is a friend of mine and this was their fourth babe. She has 3 boys….and has been praying for a little girl for many years. This was going to their last baby, regardless of gender. I was going crazy waiting to find out what they were having, and when Brittany told me it was a girl – I could have cried!! She is the most beautiful baby, and has 3 adorable big brothers who love her so much, and a mommy and daddy who adore her too! It was a joy to photograph her – I wanted to keep her (as always, ha!).
So happy for you Levens family, Norielle is one blessed girl to have you both as parents, I know you are just as blessed to have a daughter. 
BABY EZRA – HARTLAND, MICHIGAN, LIVINGSTON COUNTY – NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER
Oh sweet baby Ezra…this was one of my favorite newborn sessions to date. He did so well and I got the cutest poses of this sweet baby boy and his parents. I love capturing newborns, but it’s so fun when it’s mom and dad’s FIRST baby. Just so so special. Mom looked absolutely gorgeous! Why don’t I look that amazing after giving birth?! 🙂
THE CLARK’S – LIVINGSTON COUNTY, HARTLAND, MICHIGAN – FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER
It was so fun to meet the Clark family. Mom has been following my work for awhile and would always be so sweet and comment on my images often. I was excited when they came to my studio for a family session, and how cute are they all dressed in their Detroit Tigers apparel?! I love team spirit!

Oh how I loved seeing this little guy again! Last time I saw Benjamin he was around 9 months, so it was fun to see him grow up a little bit – and his blonde curls and blue eyes…GAH! Such a gorgeous little boy! Our last shoot was mainly just of Benjamin so it was fun to meet his daddy this time and do some family shots for them. Benjamin did so great for photos and I just loved everything about their session. Their adorable family, the gorgeous light we had that evening….I truly feel blessed to do something I love so much…capturing these memories for your families, I do not take it for granted! Enjoy the photos of the cute Burke clan 🙂
