I am absolutely loving the change I made in my business regarding newborn photography. I closed my home studio last month and have decided to offer newborn lifestyle photography instead. While I adore the cute photos of newborns in buckets, my passion is definitely newborn lifestyle photography. I feel like I’m capturing such sweet and tender moments, in the comfort of my clients homes – and it’s so relaxed and comfortable for them and for me. I love that each session is totally unique, seeing as each home is unique. I love that when my clients babies are grown, and perhaps they’ve moved to a new home – that they can look back and re-live those moments when their baby was first born. The house they brought them home to. The baby blanket that great Grandma made that once hung over the crib. The details of the nursery. It’s capturing such special moments in time.
